The hotel exudes a charming and authentic atmosphere with its wooden panels and screens, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The staff were incredibly responsive and attentive, making our experience truly enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by the availability of satellite programming, allowing us to relax and unwind with our favorite shows in the evening. The internet connection was also excellent, allowing us to easily stay connected with our loved ones back home.
My wife says that the hotel could improve by offering more family-friendly activities or amenities for children.

I chose Hotel Emperor for its great location near the Mandalay Palace. I wanted to visit the palace and explore its rich history, so staying here was very convenient. What pleasantly surprised me was the restaurant at the hotel. I enjoyed a delicious meal there and the daily buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day.
The room on the top floor was tiny and had a strange "wet-room" bathroom setup that made me nervous to shower. The lack of insulation meant we could hear birds on the roof through the bathroom fan and above the bed.

The rooms come with air conditioning and a coffee table, which is a nice touch. 🌬️ When it comes to dining, the restaurant serves up great food, including a delicious breakfast featuring noodles and chicken sausage.

The staff were very helpful and approachable, providing good customer service. the hotel had a nice terrace on the top floor, although it wasn't fully utilized by the guests. There were also two nice restaurants and a great massage place nearby, making it convenient for dining and relaxation.
The standard rooms were way too small, with no space for luggage. There was also a lack of lounging areas in the hotel, leaving guests confined to their tiny rooms.

The rooms at The Hotel Emperor Mandalay are cozy and inviting. I loved the modern amenities like the flat-screen TV and the electric kettle. The comfortable seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city.
Personally, I found the bathrobes provided in the rooms unnecessary, but I understand that some guests might enjoy them.

The Hotel Emperor Mandalay offers a great experience for business travelers. The restaurant provides delicious meals, and the 24-hour business center was highly convenient for my work needs. Additionally, having access to 24-hour room service was a definite plus during my stay.
The only service I missed for my work purposes was a dedicated meeting room or conference facility. While the hotel was otherwise perfect for my needs, having a dedicated space for meetings or presentations would have been an added benefit.

Staff spoke English, were friendly, and happy to answer questions. Good location with Mandalay Palace entry and railway station within walking distance. Better wifi compared to other hotels in Burma. Helpful taxi drivers available for day trips and future trips. Quiet and comfortable with basic amenities like convenience stores and bakeries nearby. Simple but nice breakfast with fruits, rice, and noodles. Suitable for those with physical handicaps.
Felt like in a fairy, no complaints at all.
