We were pleasantly surprised by the availability of satellite programming, allowing us to relax and unwind with our favorite shows in the evening. The internet connection was also excellent, allowing us to easily stay connected with our loved ones back home.

The stay was absolutely great. There were excellent breakfasts with toast and fried rice. - the room was kept very clean and available with aircon and a coffee table.

I chose Hotel Emperor for its great location near the Mandalay Palace. I wanted to visit the palace and explore its rich history, so staying here was very convenient. What pleasantly surprised me was the restaurant at the hotel. I enjoyed a delicious meal there and the daily buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day.

The room on the top floor was tiny and had a strange "wet-room" bathroom setup that made me nervous to shower. The lack of insulation meant we could hear birds on the roof through the bathroom fan and above the bed.
